Indeed, your pipe has an other flange. (the manifold that connects the pipe with the cilinderport)

Originally the the pipe is sold with an straight flange. That one will touch the subframe. With the 85mm rod, the exhaustport is also 5mm higher. And the straight flange will fit. (this flange only fits an exhaused port like an speed/2fast)

But your flange has an angle. It will fit your evo without editing your subframe. The flange is not original malossi.

I see on the picture with your pipe mounted on the cilinder that the flange is not flat where it meets the cilinder.
