Hi everyone after a long break I'm back working on scooters again.

Ive assembled an engine for road use with a Stage 6 racing cylinder.
After assembling the engine it starts fine but there is no power at all, ive tried all different jetting setups for my 28mm carb. But i think my problem might be the ignition timing.

Ive posted a picture of my current timing setup. At this position my piston was at TDC,
heres a picture below.

Can someone tell me which timing mark to use and which side the left or the right? and am I using the corrent mark on the rotor.

hello , just wondering if anyone can help my brother has an italjet dragster with minarelli engine and i have just put a sport setup in it consisting of stage6 street race 70 - rms full circle crank- tm24 carb - stage6 intake system - malossi gears - MVT MILLENIUM ignition and as he had a malossi overrange kit with delta clutch /wing bell lying around from his other bike so we fitted it and i set it up to get the best setting i could however its made the bike worst on top end and a tiny bit worst on bottom end as well i couldnt see what the problem was and its surpised me seeing as all that was in there before was totaly stock transmission , also ive had to miss out the washer the sits in the kick starter cog in front of the front pullyas the overrange didnt leave enough thread to get the crank bolt on , aswell its like the clutch is'nt engauging fully as only the middle pad of th pad is worn but it pulls off fine not over reving or anything and i have adjusted the delta clutch make the clutch bite at lower rpm but the pads still only wearing in the middle , i'd really be greatfull if anyone could help me as ive had to go back to stock transmission because of the problems , also all the malossi transmission is brand new so theres no problems with worn parts etc .

thanks

Hey is that I should start and run your own business in the fall / spring in conjunction with a course in school and young entrepreneurs. So I'm going to make exhaust pipes to various bikes and setups.
shall define a pipe to am6/derbi well suited to sports setups. then do some different exhaust to worse hyper bikes. then maybe make a few copies of the exhaust pipes like metrakit prorace. Will also make exhaust pipes for scooters of interest exists. I have a subcontractor of the muffler so the exhaust pipes will have silencers. Will not be sold abroad with a silencer if I do not get enough orders so I can keep prices low. Will also take off fee of exhaust pipes and I mean that you pay a certain price when you order the exhaust pipes and then pay the rest when you get them so I can not stand by the mass of unsold exhaust pipes that I have spend a lot of expenses for materials. I will also make a website

For example, provide a copy of metrakit prorace tube with a silencer for about 212euro

Pm Tuning clutch, And Standard clutch.

Basically whats happening is the scooter is revving to around 4000rpm to 7000rpm depending on what rollers and clutch springs, I tried both of these from 2.5grams rollers to 7 gram rollers, Standard clutch springs to Hard ones. The scooter either revs loads and does nothing or revs a bit and goes to 20mph or the clutch engages instantly and goes to 20mph, Its really slow getting to 20mph, On a slight hill it will struggle alot. The scooter has no power at all, If u lift the scooter wheel up it revs and runs OK reaching a high speed. The only thing i havent changed is the jets but before i order loads, Do they make that much difference
