ECU foutmeldings code's
De 'ECU Diagnose'
De diagnose-led, meestal een rode led op het dashboard, geeft aan dat er electronishe storingen zijn ontstaan. Het gegeven signaal is afhankelijk van de ernst van de storing waarop dan de evt maatregelen dienen te worden genomen .Gaat bv de led knipperen of constant aan bij draaiende motor, dan moet de motor worden uitgezet.Andere,minder ernstige storingen verschijnen pas wanneer men de ECU een 'zelf diagnose' laat uitvoeren.Een aantal keren knipperen van het controle lampje staat dan voor een bepaalde foutmelding. Hoe zelf ECU fouten uitlezen: Scooter staat compleet uit. --> Volgas geven en vast houden , contact aanzetten, lampje gaat uit, lampje gaat aan --> gaslos laten Nu gaat het ECU Diagnose lampje knipperen, tel hoevaak hij dit doet .Kijk daarna bij de onderstaande code's wat deze foutmelding betekent. Doordat de ECU echter alle fouten bewaard totdat deze word gereset ,kan het wat onduidelijk zijn welke resent zijn en welke van bv een jaar geleden -Daarom kun je beter regelmatig en/of eerst ressetten VOORDAT je hem uitleest Hoe zelf je ECU fouten resetten: Scooter staat compleet uit. --> Volgas geven en vast houden , contact aanzetten, lampje gaat uit, lampje gaat aan --> gaslos laten Nu gaat het ECU Diagnose lampje knipperen,--> Laat alle aanwezige fouten ,min 4X achter elkaar (niet onderbreken) paseeren -Oude fouten die 4x zijn gepaseered zullen worden gewist ,en alleen fouten die nog aanwezig zijn worden dus 5x (of meer) vertoond FOUTCODE'S ECU 01 Engine overheat Damaged thermostat -Check thermostat Damaged radiator -Check radiator Damaged coolant hose -Check hose ECU 02 Pick-up sensor failure Inverted pickup wires -Check wiring Damaged pickup wires -Check the continuity (R=Ohm) between the transducer and the ECU (blue wire -white wire - blue/yellow wire - white/yellow wire) Check the opening of the circuit (R=infinite) between pickup and earth [b]Connectors -Check connectors Transducers -Check resistance (R=385 Ohm) between the positive and negative poles of the pickup ECU 03 Wrong signal from throttle position sensors Throttle control sealing screw out of place -Check the screw (wich shouldn't be tamperd with) Throttle wire improperley set (on the handelbar) -Adjust throthel cabel ECU 04 Wrong signal from throttle position sensor 1 Inverted throthel sensor connector wires -Check connector wires Connectors -Check connectors ECU 05 Wrong signal from throttle position sensor 2 Damaged wires -Check continuity (R 0 Ohm) between the sensor and ECU (brown/yellow wire - pink wire - white wire - yellow wire ) Sensor races worn -Replace throthel body ECU 06 Throttle position sensor 1 malfunction Inverted throthel sensor wiring -Check sensor wiring Connectors -Check connectors ECU 07 Throttle position sensor 2 malfunction Damaged wires -Check the continuity (R 0 Ohm ) between the sensor and the ECU (brown/yellow wire - pink wire - white wire - yellow wire ) Sensor races worn -Replace throttel body ECU 08 Throttle position sensors malfunction Water in the sensor -Remove traces of water and try again If nesessary replace the butterfly casing Damaged throttel sensor -Replace throttel body ECU 09 Incorrect charging voltage Batery to low -Check batery charge . Check and restore battery connections if necessary Red/brown wire connector 15 wire to the ECU not conected or conected to earth -Check the continuity (R 0 Ohm of the Red/brown wire Voltage regulation wires and/or connectors not wired up -Check connectors. Fit the relais between the bleu wire and the red/black wire. If the relais closes check the continuity (R 0 Ohm) between the red/brown wire and orange wire . If the values are correct : check the general feed plant (batery,fse,main switch ) ECU 10 Oil pump malfunction Connectors -Check connectors Dammaged wires -check the continuity (R 0 Ohm ) of the brown wire between the pump and ECU Check the voltage (12V) between the red/black wire and negative battery pole. Control the general feed plant (battery,fuse,main switch) Demaged oil pump -Check the resistance valeu of the oil pump (26,3 Ohm at 25c) between positive and negative pole Demaged ECU -See ECU CONTROL ECU 11 Air injector malfunction Connectors -Check connectors Damaged wires Check the continiuity (R 0 Ohm)of the white/red wire between the airinjector and the ECU . Check the voltage (12V) between the red/black wire and the negative battery pole . Damaged airinjector Check the resistance inside the airinjector between the negative and the positive pole (R 1,3 Ohm) Damaged injection plant relais Check the connectors . Fit the relay between the red and bleu wire . If the relais closes check the continuity (R 0 Ohm ) between the red/brown wire and the orange wier . If values are correct ; check the general feed circuit (battery ,fuse,main switch ) Demaged ECU -See ECU control ECU 12 Fuel injector malfunction Connectors -Check connectors Damadged wires -Check the continuity (R 0 Ohm) of the yellow/red wire between the fuel injector and ECU. Check the voltage (12V) between the red/black wire and the negative pole of the batery Damadged fuel injector -Check the resistance inside the fuel injector between the negative and the positive poles (R 1.8 Ohm) Damadged injection plant relais -Check the connectors . Fit the relay between the red and bleu wire . If the relais closes check the continuity (R 0 Ohm ) between the red/brown wire and the orange wier . If values are correct ; check the general feed circuit (battery ,fuse,main switch ) Demaged ECU -See ECU control ECU 13 Ignition circuit malfunction Connectors -Check connectors High voltage wire spark plug -Check the sparkplug (R 5 Ohm) . Check the continuty of the High Voltage wire of the spark Damadged high voltage cable -Check the general feed circuit (batery, fuse , main switch) Damadged injection plant relais -Check the connectors . Fit the relay between the red and bleu wire . If the relais closes check the continuity (R 0 Ohm ) between the red/brown wire and the orange wier . If values are correct ; check the general feed circuit (battery ,fuse,main switch ) Demaged ECU -See ECU control ECU 14 Fuel pump malfunction Connectors -Check connectors Damadged wires -Check the continuity (R 0 Ohm) of the white/violet wire betrwwen the high voltage wire and ECU. -Check the voltage (12 V) between the red/black wire and negative pole of the battery Damaged high voltage cable -Check the general feed circuit (battery,fuse,main switch) Demadged injection plant relay -Check connectors -Fit the relay between the blue and red/black wires. If the relay closes check the continuity (R 0 Ohm) between the red/brown wire and orange wire -If value's are correct ; check the general feed circiut (battery,fuse,main switch) Demaged ECU -See ECU control ECU 15 Engine rpm limiter tripped ECU 16 Error in ECU power supply Fault to sensor feed circuit -Check battery voltage Damaged ECU -See ECU control ECU 17 Variator threshold exceeded High rev's on startup -Examine the cause of the high revs at start-up ECU 18 Engine temperature sensor malfunction (curent feed to low) Connectors -Check connectors Damadged wires -Check the continuity (R 0 Ohm) of the pink wire between the tempsensor and ECU ,and of the green/red wire between the tempsensor and ECU ECU 19 Engine temperature sensor malfunction (curent feed to high) Damaged tempsensor -Check the resistance of the temperature sensor: 21430 -24750 Ohm at 15c / 2613-2795 Ohm at 25c / 99,9- 106,9 Ohm at 120c Damadged ECU -Check ECU ECU 20 Cooling Liqude temp fault Connectors -Check the connection between the temperature sensor and dasboard connection Temperature reader wires Check the voltage (12V) between the green/red wire and negative pole of the battery. Check the continuity (R 0 Ohm) of the white/blue wire between the temperature reader and the ECU. Check the continuity (R 0 Ohm) of the pink wire between the temperature sensor and the ECU and the green/red wire between the temp reader and the ECU Demaged temperature reader -Replace the temperature reader Demaged ECU -Check ECU ECU 21 Injection System -faulty bulb Can be read using external control instruments -Check the voltage (12V) between the two terminals of the injection control led connector. >If the voltage is normal : replace the injection control led >If there is no voltage reading: check the connector and/or red/black wire between the led and ECU ECU 22 Error on ECU . throttle sensor connection ECU 23 Atmospheric pressure sensor malfunction Last edited by the max; 20-02-2008 at 15:30. |
