I have a problem with Stage6 HPC piaggio crankshaft

I bought the crankshaft in the title and i have a "little" problem with it.I tried to put the top cover of the vario on the crankshaft and it seems it doesnt fit,like the shaft of the crankshaft is too wide.Does anybody know whats the problem?

It should fit if you have a right vario? How much difference is between it?
