newbie wif a vespa et4 50cc HEHE

Hi all you guys out there and the gals aswel, driven a number of bikes in my youth, last one being a BSA 650, and the only fun I ever had with scooters was stripped down ones passed down by their previous owners as scrap basically. Used to play on them on the pit areas, in particular the sludge ponds which when dried out made great tracks.

Those little wheels had me on me arse many a time I can tell you, we used to take the cylinder heads off and buff em down with grit paper on a block and they went like fook. I remember they all seemed to fook up the kick starts, at least all the ones we had were fooked.

Anyway dunt speak german, studying spanish at the minute tho and did a bit of searching but cant find anything in english. Bit of a bummer.

Getting the middle age thing and wanting to get back on bikes again but wife has banned me from the big babies, and so ended up wif a fookin 50cc vespa 4 stroke. However most of my best days were spent on a 50cc honda moped wif trillions of miles to the gallon so I have sort of relented a bit. Took the wife down an old pit track tonight and sent her off on her first time on a bike, told her to just do short stop start bits until she got the hang of it and I would walk beside her to assist and laugh.

Anyway she got bored and pissed off at a good rate wiggling down the road forgeting that she had to stop at the other end and turn around. She eventually came back having fallen off turning around, and did the classic picking the thing up running, turning the throttle and getting dragged to the ground again.

Anyway when she came back she looked as if she had been raped. I thought I would finish her off for the night so I stuck her on the back and tore back down the road at a terrifying 30mph turned it around at the bit where she fell off and by the time we got back to the house she was well sorted. HEHE she said 30mph was too slow, not now she dunt.

Anyway how do I get the little fooker de-restricted, looked everywhere and all I can find is bits on the 2 stroke beastie.

And is there any down loads for a hand book or sumut never got any instructions wif it, spent ages checkin the battery first etc till found out you need to hold in pigin brake lever to start it.

But tell you this it's well made and fun, wif a little bit more puff it would be ok.

Must be some old fookers on here and we cud have a blether about bantams etc ting ting ting, remember them?

There's a (very thin) wire hidden in the ignition coil, you should cut it to derestrict the vespa ET4.
The thing should go around 50mph after that..
