v belt

i put a new v belt in the scooter and now as soon as i take it off the stand and the tire hits the ground the moter kills it also kills when i put the brake on ,,it runs fine when the back wheel is off the ground ,,any sugustions??

Could be your clutch is stuck engaged. I couldn't
guess why though.
