Yamaha R1.

Liam, i would realy consider changing that front fork into SR. This really looks like your crashed or something (The wheelaxle is in front of fork @ SR). the steering will be very nervous because of tha angle. also you will run into problems mounting your undertray, i think. eccept for that , nothing but nice things i see here keep it up!

Carters are pratically originals!
You have not optimized carter's fluidodinamic, that cylinder will not go fast with those tipe of carters!

I have a 28mm at the moment, but soon hope to find a Ta-09 carb, between a 24 - 28mm will perfectly suit for the races, also good with the other parts. Ill test a couple of carbs to see which is best for what track etc.

But have you seen them?
They are original! You cannot expect that they go fast because the cilinder is limited.

I am not the last one arrived, I have made a lot of Carters,so i can judge them

If you read properly, The actual pics are NOT of the finished engine article, I personally KNOW it is not finished like that, These were pictures of the progress, not of the finished article

since when ar minarelli transfers shaped like that, stock transfers are squared. dont be such a pain in the ass. you cant say it performs bad judging on pics.

i didnt say overheating, i said "UNDER"heating, if the cylinder does not reach a certain optimum temperature the rings are not flexible enough to work properly at high revs and could snap, so with one radiator it might be too hot and with two it might be hard to get it to be hot enough as you do not have a thermostat...
