2008 bws mods

Hi I bought a yamaha bws 50 and I am told by the dealer that for 100 bucks they would take the throttle lock off and I was wondering how easy this is, are there any parts that need to be bought or is it just the removal of the lock itself are there any do it yourself guides. Also will boring out the exhaust make a difference horsepower wise.

If there is an restrictor ring it will make a difference, and thats is really easy to do.
