dellorto phbh28 problems..?
hi,
I am trying to set up a dellorto phbh28 on a gilera runner 172cc, but when i turn the engine over petrol comes out of both 'overflow' nipples on the carb? why would this be happening? the float is fine also? any info greatly appreciated! ![]() __________________ |

i checked the float again and it seems the bowl would not stop filling? fixed now! but now it is running again it seems to have a sort of missfire (splutters) when you pull away from standstill? from about 20mph it is fine, only when you pull of from standstill? what could cause this? mabie lighter rollers needed?

If the spark plug is grey-ish you're probably running too lean.
Does it happen when you only give a little throttle (say 1/4 to 1/2 max). It should look something like the one in the middle of this picture: http://cpibase.atspace.com/afbeeldingen/bougie.jpg __________________ |

With splutter you mean it sounds like it four-stroking?
The picture is here: http://cpibase.atspace.com/page/sproeier.htm __________________ |
