Hi Guys.... new here and need some help with my speedfight 2...

hi guys...
my speedfight 2 is having somekind of fuel problem.... basically it was fine for ages then today it cut out in the middle of no-where leaving me to walk back with it in this heat once home removed spark plug and was bone dry.... droped abit of fuel down there and if fired up but would not idle and then it died.... removed plug again and it was dry...... cleaned the carb - still nothing.. if i put my hand over the air filter it will start but not for long - really bugging me this and im close to torching the thing........

i have stripped top end, cleaned and rebuilt....
cleaned carb.....
cleaned plug.........
cleaned fuel tap....
cleaned fuel lines.....
fresh petrol.....


and still nothing...........

just to add it will only start with fuel dropped down plug or hand over air filter and then it will adle all over the place till cutting out.

long shot i know but any ideas????

i know you said you cleaned the carb but did you take the jets out and blow down them also check for a air leak on your intake oh and also take the petrol line off of the carb and turn on the bike too see if the petrol is going through ok
