malossi belt xkevlar problem

buy's i just bought a new xkevlar belt , i used it for about 2 months then it was broken , my pulley face is ok and smooth , i put 1 pc 1mm thick washer in it, how could the kevlar materials just give in , any same stories?? am figuring it out buying a polini...my scooter is a 70cc h20

Front and rear pulleys were not aligned?
